i noticed if you do this it will update also. go to a different tab. let it actually load the tab, then go to the clock tab. you will see your phone is trying to connect to the internet and then your weather changes.

Re: how often does 6.5 TF weather update??
I'm also using Mighty's ROM and the homescreen weather doesnt update until I go to the weather tab. Even then, the weather tab it self doesn't update automatically all the time. Sometimes it would be 9hours behind on updating. lol
Most of the time I have to click "Update Now" to get an accurate picture on what the weather is since it doesnt do this automatically. It would be convenient to be able to look at the home screen and have an "UDPATED" picture of what the weather is like. Although this is not too big of a deal compared to the many benefits flashing to Mighty's ROM, it should be addressed atleast. (MIGHTY where ARE YOU????????) lol |

Ok it does work. You have to flip the clock up to the smaller clock and then flip it back down to the full clock and then the weather on the home tab changes to the updated one from the weather tab.

Running sense 2.5 the weather updates correctly 100% of the time. Using 2.1 it NEVER does (& probably never will since it is hard coded into manila & nobody knows how to change it). IMHO, that makes the feature completely useless. If you have to click ANYTHING to get it to update, you are no farther ahead than just clicking the weather tab in the stock ROM. I could care less what ROM somebody else runs but if being able to glance at the home tab & see the current weather is important to you (it definitely is to me) then you really need to run manila 2.5. ~John |
