normal for screen to increase brightness then dim?

i know but it's just sitting there and the light settings haven't changed. anyways, it's a small hiccup and doesn't happen all the time.

I noticed mine doing that a couple times the last few days. I've even picked up the phone thinking that a call or text was coming in..and then nothing. It doesn't seem to negatively affect the phone, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Mine does that a little bit, but I think that's just because as I hold it in my hand and move slightly, the light the sensor sees changes. I like the auto-adjust feature, so while it may be a little more sensitive to light changes than I'd like, I can live with it.
