Anybody else not able to connect to the Internet when synced to PC with Activesync?

For some reason, whenever I have my TP2 connected to the PC via USB, the internet connection on the phone won't work. I've got it set to sync with my gmail through Activesync. (Obviously, that won't work either since it uses the phone's connection to check.)

I've checked the "Allow wireless connection on device when connected to the desktop" box in Activesync on my PC, so I don't know what else could be going wrong. Anyone else having this issue?

Try this: Under Settings -> Connections, select USB to PC. Then, unselect the checkbox "Enable faster data synchronization"

I have a similiar problem....when connected to active sync i cannot teather or use my phones data connection....sme with wifirouter and activesync....this caused me to have to wait an extra day to unlock for obvious reasons....I am sure in the past on my other htc devices I was able to be connected to activesync and use my data at the same time....
