Kinda useless unless you turn data on to auto update it. I would think most of the power users here whould have that feature turned off.
Yea only 2.5 has the ability to update in intervals....

Certainly odd though, I'm on 2.1 and mine is almost always up to the minute when I look at it. Woke up last night it was on moon, woke up this morning it was on sun...

I'm on the stock Sprint rom and I got very similar results to yours last night and this morning. When I went to bed last night there was a moon and this morning when I wokd up there was the sun. Except I was actually looking through the window in my room. lol. The only time I use the weather app. is when I am going to a different city or when I'm showing off my phone. I have mine set to manual update. It certainly does have a coolness factor. Looks cool on the home screen.

you are catching it at just the right time then as 2.1 only updates every THREE HOURS (& there is no way to change it, we had a long thread on this recently) so it is a completely useless feature (although it certainly looks cool)

I am running Mighty ROM also, this morning I looked at my weather after I got to work & it still said my home town & temp from hours earlier (& I have auto updates all turned on).

When I hit the weather tab, it immediately switched to the location where I work & jumped up 6 degrees.

I am considering trying Juicy's ROM tonight just to see if the weatheer works better & see if CorePlayer works any better........
