Catch 22 on HSPL Unlocker - Help!

I use the stock 'Internet Sharing' as my only Internet connection. However, after the HSPL validates my license, it pops up an error complaining that my phone is not synced up to my PC, which cannot be done without shutting down Internet Sharing - And thus losing my Internet connection by which the license is validated.

This was with Automatic mode. Using Manual mode results in the RUU giving error 246 'Device Not Responding'.

Help!
