reduce Long Key Press (hold down time) on Full Qwerty SIP keyboard 4 alternate keys?

I really like the TP2's native Full Qwerty software keyboard but am used to using FingerKeyboard2 from XDA (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501122) on my Touch Pro (1). It was great to me because to type a number or parenthesis, or any other character that was the "alternate" character on that key, you didn't have to hold down the key very long. 200-300ms I think and it was even configurable.

So thats what I'm trying to figure out: Is it possible to configure the hold time you have to keep a key pressed on the TP2 Full Qwerty SIP for it's alternate key to be typed?

I've looked and can't find this.. Alternatively, anyone know if there's a version of FingerKeyboard2 out for the TP2?
