VZW TP2 Cannot Remove CABs!

I have installed the No Bottom Curtain.cab and it works fine, but with my particular background, it makes my icons difficult to see, so I would like to remove it.

HOWEVER,

In "remove programs," there is no indication of it even being installed. I have tried to re-install it since that does an uninstall of the previous version first, but it says that it cannot be removed.

Anyone know how to remedy this? [-o<

I got the same messages but I didnt really care since I didnt care for those cabs.

Yea that cab was made to not be uninstalled, I would suggest you backup your phone or most of it and hard reset.

Better yet try this, install this cab I edited a bit, choose yes to overwrite the existing one, it'll prolly uninstall and then reinstall this one, reset your phone, then go back into remove programs, it should show up Max - Your application name, then unistall it.!! Lemme know

just reinstall the .cab. it will say it will need to remove the previous install first. select okay, it will uninstall the no bottom curtain and then continue. when it asks to install hit cancel. soft reset and everything will be back to normal. hope this

I was able to get it uninstalled by just installing the No Curtains.cab which took away all curtains, and then uninstalling that cab and soft resetting. Slider is back now. Thanks guys
