Quick question about Flashing ROMmage...

Due to circumstances beyond my immediate control, my service has been temporarily, ahem, suspended. Yes, I've been "hotlined."

That said, do I need to be registered with the network (Sprint user here) to do the Hard SPL hack, and to flash ROMs? I have wifi at home, so I can utilize that for an internet connection if one is required, but at the moment I can't connect to EVDO or the Sprint voice network, per se.
