Quick question about Flashing ROMmage...

Due to circumstances beyond my immediate control, my service has been temporarily, ahem, suspended. Yes, I've been "hotlined."

That said, do I need to be registered with the network (Sprint user here) to do the Hard SPL hack, and to flash ROMs? I have wifi at home, so I can utilize that for an internet connection if one is required, but at the moment I can't connect to EVDO or the Sprint voice network, per se.

No you dont need that. Your computer you run HSPL from needs internet access though.

in the past, no, you didn't need to have an activated phone. the new unlocker, however, who knows?
