Re: Touch Pro2 a stopgap?

I upgraded from a vz vogue to the tp2. It really depends on what your coming from. The only other phone that makes me jealous is the htc leo. Just not patient to wait and I will not switch from verizon due to my corporate discounts.

Technically Sprint gives you 30 days to return it, but then they hold your money for another 45 days after that (assuming you go to another carrier).

So in my case I just forked out 2 grand to get 4 Touch Pro 2's on a family plan. Now that I got them, I found out that Bing doesn't work correctly (I have been using a GSM version on AT&T and Bing worked great), and also the conference calling feature has been removed (I guess it doesn't work with CDMA). And there is really no way I could have known about this before hand, because no Sprint stores have the Touch Pro 2 in stock. The only way to see one is to actually order it.

So I could technically leave Sprint and get the T-Mobile version. But I'd have to fork out another 2 grand, while giving Sprint an interest free loan for 45 days.

I guess that is more a carrier issue than a device issue though. However, it does explain why returning it might not be as simple as you say.
this is true, understood
