my mogul was doing the same **** towards the end of its life,
battery may be bad, so it doesn't have enough power to stay on. try charging it on a computer or if thats what you were charging it on, charge it on a wall charger.

It looks like it seems to be holding a charge now. I think my main problem was that i plugged it into my PS3 and charged it that way. I used to charge my TP1 all the time this way with no side effects but i guess the TP2 is different. I'm going to let it charge overnight and see how it is in the morning. Word to the wise...PS3 = not a good charger for TP2.
