Frustrated with GPS lag

My sprint Tp2 has been having this GPS lag problem. At about 40mph, my location is always 100ft behide, no matter which program I use, Igo, Google Map, Tomtom... I tried all the tweaks, registry hack, deleting logs, GPSgate etc, none of them worked. The lag is worse than my previous Touch Pro which lags a little too.

Seems there are zero-lagging TP2 out there, I wonder if I should let sprint replace this one...

Did you disable gps logging with Advanced Config as well as delete the log files? This is the only thing that helped my lag.

Re: Frustrated with GPS lag

Tp2, TP and Diamond all have lag and personally I don't think you will find one that doesn't have lag. The only sure fix for me was to purchase a bluetooth gps receiver

Yes, tried that too but didn't help. Did it make a big difference for you? Did you disable AGPS?

Is this on each of the GPS app?

I find GPSGate helps.

Lag will become a big issue when there are exits that are close to one another!

It made a huge difference for me and it's the only thing that made a difference. I messed around with agps, but ended up leaving it disabled after noticing slightly more lag. I still have a bit of lag, but I actually prefer it that way. My moto q9c had zero lag, and sometimes it feels like the dot's in front of you.

I can't completely agree, my experience after using the gps tweaking (using qpst) I have no noticeable lag with iGO8 however it is quite annoying when stopped as the map will spin... Garmin xt continues to have some minor lag but no where near 100m. more like 10 to 20m.
As the faq in this forum states iGO is the most compatible and I agree.

(the same tweaks on my diamond were not as sucessful and lag was noticeable, it could re route me to turn after I've past a street, TP2 is not having this issue)

I strongly recommend following the qpst tweak instructions, this will require you to discover your subsidy lock code.
