Re: Post your Keyboard Config

Is it possible to remap a key only for a certain application (I know how to do it for all applications except one)? For example I want to map the volume keys to up and down in only one application, but for everything else to control the volume?

yes, change the class to process, then do the catch method for the process you want to create a key map for.

Example:
Process = tmail.exe
vol down (Single Press) = emulate key down (this moves down 1 message)

Does the help?

Re: Post your Keyboard Config

okay keyboard config gurus out there.....

am trying to use the mute button while in an open email to press the delete button (normal method involes pressing the menu button then delete).

Trying to get a quick method to delete an open email.

Thanks.

um you could have the mute key or another key run a script that will delete the email ?

EDIT:::: I just set the mute key to emulate the delete key , and it worked to delete a single text message , have you tried this already for your emails ?

Re: Post your Keyboard Config

any1 have any suggestions to device lock. i know there is 1 option under emulate key press but it doesnt work for my end key long press. can i make or dl and exe for device lock so i can put in programs and use run program option?

or

also does any1 know why when i try to configure power key long press to emulate key (device lock) then hav single click as default key action it doesnt suspend like it would by default. its on/off...iffy to get it to work as its default action of suspend on/off.

im trying to get the lock on either the end or power key long press...power key would be preffered but then the suspend mess up? thanks for any help, suggestions

have you tried the app called lockdevice ? it locks your phone automatically when it goes into standby . or when you push the power key once .

but I had a similar issue , what I did way I selected the extend emulation check box .
