I have a VZW TP2 and have no issues with the calendar. I can add or change appointmens from choosing any day from the month view and/or using the arrow icons from the day view. It would appear that you have damaged the functionality with one of your upgrades.

It took a bit to get used to the TF3d calendar, but I like it MUCH more than the mobile outlook calendar.
