I ran into this... had something to do with an account I had set up within activesync... I think it was when I was trying to use googlesync... I went into options within activesync, deleted the account from there, and it fixed the issue...not sure if this will work in your situation but hopefully...

Thats what it was.
I had it set up to only sync the calendar, not the email so a junk email from microsoft about activsync was being sent with each setup but it wasn't showing up in the email envelopes, just the count was. That was driving me crazy...much thanks. |
