Where can I buy battery covers? Mine got screwed up! - Page 2

Sprint repair/service centers after they take phones in for repairs...they send them into the manufacturer WITHOUT the battery cover. When phones come back to the store...the manufacturer already have a replacement door on there. So these service centers have excess doors to be had.

With that being said, since the TP2 doesn't seem to have the same amount of issues as the 1st Gen TP...the doors at the stores may be scarce. Doesn't hurt to check it out periodically. Oh yeah, ask nicely and they should give it to you for free. I passed on about 6 TP batt doors to the guy I sold my TP to.

u should just pull the orange sticky off and dye it black. i actually like it better than the verizon one i dyed black.

Ordered one today. When it gets here I'll have a spare so I'll
be dyeing one. Wish there was a black rubberized one around
like my old duals'.

Well I dyed mine last night and it came out pretty good... still a little excess ink on it, but it's coming off with an old sock. Unfortunately my Volume Down button no longer works after dying

Volume Up works no problem. If I take the case off, I can manually volume up/down no problem so it's definitely the back cover. Damnit why did they put volume controls on the back cover!!!

Oh well... at least my Verizon cover will get here today lol.

cant figure why it wud mess with the lower volume button on the back just from dye.maybe the water was heated too hot. if you did it that way.

It's very possible - I had it on 5 of 10 (medium) for 15 minutes, but right before I was finished it started boiling, which maybe did it... still soo strange that it only messed with the bottom button!

i had my sprint 1 on a little 2 high and now its alittle harder 2 get on.
