Task Reminders / Alerts

Hello all.

I am moving from a Treo 700wx into the exciting world of the Touch Pro2.

On the Treo, I would constantly get notifications for all my task reminders.

On the Touch Pro2, I don't get any such reminders. This is annoying as the reason I put the reminders in outlook was to be reminded at the relevant time. The only way I see what needs to be done at all is to go into tasks.

What gives? Can anyone please explain why this is? Is there any way to enable task reminder alerts?
