Skipping to next song with the TP2 ? (when screen's off)

I was thinking about getting a TP2, but am curious as to how you guys skip to the next track when listening to albums or playlists (when the screen's turned off). On my TP I have them mapped to the dpad keys, but since you guys have no dpad, how do you do it?

(I do not want to use a bluetooth headset and a media player with AVRCP. I'd like to plug in normal headphones via a 3.5mm adapter, or even use the earbud headphones that come with HTC's products.)

Re: Skipping to next track with the TP2?

Easy...just flick up or down on the album cover will advance or revert to previous track. There are also arrows displayed on the screen for the purists! At least that is how it works stock with the HTC player

So you leave the screen on the whole time?
I've always turned mine off to save battery and to be more discreet. I shoulda made that clear (I'll go edit my post now).

So, how do you skip to the next track when the screen's off?

i'd have to say with the stock htc player there is no way to change track with the screen off. infact the sleep button stops the htc player. i have to use shutxp to get the screen off and still listen to music. the volume buttons still work though, hah. maybe using a keyboard mapper you could map some of the front keys to change tracks...maybe...

The only way that I have done it is by mapping the keys with Coreplayer to the volume keys. + for next track and - for blank screen...then of course you cannot adjust volume, but I usually set volume then listen.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

s2p seems to work ok and I use my headsets toggle to switch it for me(so I can leave it in my pocket or holster)
