It causes the phone to turn on from standby because it activates the magnet used to tell if the keyboard is opened or not. There's a regedit to disable it though. Lemme look for it

The solution is to [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd] Create new dword "SlideWakeup" with value of 0 and soft reset. This will stop the magnet from waking your phone up.

I got my easecase from Ebay over the weekend. For my touch pro, I got the smooth leather. For the TP2 I decided to get the textured leather that mimics the Prada leather.

Quality is top notch IMO. $39.99 on ebay.

Best buy has a case specifically for the tp2 now. If you prefer a hip case over a snap-on, then i highly reccomend it. The material is nice and fits the phone perfectly 100%. Total cost was around $35.

Thanks for the link. Their cases are on sale right now. I ordered this one http://www.hedocell.com/?prodid=33587428 it was around $9.84 shipped. Plan on using it without the clip in my pocket.

I hate holders with clips since i dont use it and dont want something thats bulky. little top portion of the phone is exposed, but good enough for me to keep in my pocket with keys so the screen doesnt get damaged, which is my main concern.
