You have to snap it open on a hinge to use the keyboard, but I prefer it this way for two reasons:

MUCH better protection if you drop it while closed. If I'm using the keyboard I'm probably holding on pretty tightly to it and sitting down and not moving.

The snap-ons will probably snap-OFF in a fall.

It also covers a lot of the front of the phone.

I got a case I guess its a Universal case from a swap meet (flea market to some) Its not a name brand but it fits my TP2 PERFECTLY not tight not loose. and a nice velvet like inside. Perfect strength magnet on it. Its a belt holster one, I cant keep my phone in my pocket. LoL bad luck! Might put the wrong thing in that same pocket and by by pretty screen lol.

+1 for ease case. I had it for my TP and I am going to order it for the TP2 also. I want one side to be lower so that I can use a headphone jack though.

I find that the Seidio case is the best. It is slim so I can easily just put my phone into my pocket (the best carrying case).

The standard HTC belt pouch they sell at Sprint works great. Not sure if this is the one with the magnet that's "too strong" but I love it.

I agree, easecaase is the way to go if u wanna keep ur phone well protected, I had one for TP, now its up for sale in bargain trades section, I ordered mine as well still in its way.

Fonegear case, paid 9.99 for it from Wal-Mart. A hidden gem in my book =)

I use this one http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=10929531 from wal mart. It shows 12.84 on the web page but its 6 bucks at my store in Ga. It fits good, has a zipper that goes from 1\2 way up the side over to top so its 100% sealed. It has a belt loop in the back or the clip on the top. It also has a small pocket in the front that I keep something like this http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...ct_id=13077390 in for whenver I need to link to something. I do construction so the zip up case is nice to keep dust out of my phone. It has a small amount of padding inside it to help protect it from bumping around. Cant beat this case with a stick.

my old tp 1 case keeps cutting my phone off.

what effect does the magnet have on this phone??
