According to Microsoft's My Phone website:
"It's free! Except for a few optional services, Microsoft does not charge for use of Microsoft My Phone. However, your mobile operator may charge for data usage so please ensure that you have an appropriate data plan. If you are unsure of your data plan coverage, contact your mobile operator."

I've learned anytime there is a problem with contacts not syncing, delete the partnership before trying to do anything

This is one of the reasons I'm getting really, really not happy with SPCS.
Edit: Activesync issues, contact issues, other issues.

I use Dashwire, have had some issues with it recently on the TP2, but I probably just need to update my software.
