Re: How do I disable Text Message Wake Up?
I guess I don't understand the stock lock program. I thought it was sufficent, and didn't understand why people were looking for other options. Well, now I do. Like the OP, I completely do not understand why the default lock program gets unlocked so easily. Kinda makes the lock program useless. Texts and phone calls wake up the phone and make the face active. Just puzzles me.

Re: How do I disable Text Message Wake Up?
The only solution really available, aside from using a 3rd party utility is the "Lock" under personal settings. You can set it to lock after 0 minutes & setup a pin for unlocking.
you can chose a PIN that is only 1 or 2 characters if you like. Unfortunately there isn't a way to setup something to not turn on the screen at all (which is a little silly). Not sure if that is changed in 6.5, but I don't imagine it would be hard to create a simple cab to NOT wake the device.

Re: How do I disable Text Message Wake Up?
This is one of very few gripes I have with WM. Such a simple thing, yet makes no sense to have it function the way it does....

Re: How do I disable Text Message Wake Up?
This has been driving me crazy, not just on the TP2 but on my previous WM phones. It is even worse now since I set up my Gmail to forward to text me whenever I get an email, instead of having to constantly check for messages. Why can't we have push Gmail on WM!?!

i thought push gmail was on wm? setup is thru activesync? and set notice as they arrive?

Yes, but I use activesync for my corporate email/calendar/contacts already. You can't have more than one activesync account at a time.
