Sprint Touch Pro 2 GPS Information

Hello,

I am hoping this thread will be the beginnings of a thread for any information related to the GPS on Sprint Touch Pro 2.

I just purchased a Sprint Touch Pro 2 and I am not sure about a couple things related to the GPS:

1. Is the GPS unlocked?
2. If it is locked, how do I unlock it?
3. What port is the GPS located at?
4. What are some good non Sprint GPS navigation solutions?

I tried TomTom 6, it would not even finish the windows install. I tried an old copy of Mapopolis, and it installed fine and runs, but could not see a GPS.I did run Quick GPS before I tested each application.

I am leaning toward purchasing a copy of iGo8, but I would like confirmation that it runs AOK on the Sprint TP2.
