can someone answer ... is the the holster coated with the same rubber coating as innocase?
NO, it is the hard rubber - NOT the same as the rubber on the innocase. I have the combo for my Verizon unit. It is working very well for me!

did u mean to write hard plastic?

is there a grippy feel on the holster or it is smooth plastic?

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

the case is a "rubbery feeling" almost silicon like feel. Not slippery...but NOT spongy.

the holster is hard plastic with a felt liner on the inner portion of the holster. The finish on the plastic is a matte finish...so its NOT smooth and shiny.

the two together is a very solid combination. Easy extraction, yet its sturdy and secure.

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

WoW and the representative named angela guaranteed me that the holster was rubber grip on it

she stated that they made one holster for the innocase .. not one for the combo deal and one for standalone...

i think with the combo u get the cheaper holster and if u buy alone u get the better holster

http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/hlhtp2sasc.htm
Seidio's signature soft touch coating provides a better feel and added grip

but if u go to combo listing:
Holster:
- Unique spring clip lifts for quick access and easy removal
- Adjustable swivel belt clip with 7 rotating angles
- Felt liner and face-in design protect your phone from outside elements
- Easy access to connectors and function keys
- Designed specifically for Seidio Innocases

it doesnt mention the grip ... so it looks like they send a cheaper version if u get the combo since it is cheaper

Re: Seidio Innocase ETA

I also have the combo but havn't really gotten used to the carrier. ... but then I never used one before plus I have other stuff on my belt (leatherman)
I can also confirm the holster is straight black plastic. Its worth mentioning I think that you would probably run into wear issues if it was the same as the phone cover the rubber on the cover is a surface coat and I think if they put it on the holster it would wear off and look ugly.

FYI ... the case drills easily and the inside is an off white plastic, its not black all the way through.

I conquered my biggest complaint which was that I couldn't soft reset without taking 2 layers off ... so I drilled a hole though both Drilling plastic is so easy because its soft that unless you go crazy it looks pretty stock.

Also wanted to say ... big ups for seidos screen protector ... works perfect and is clear as they get. If nothing else those are worth the money without a doubt.

You know you can soft reset by holding down the end key right?

Indeed. They stagger the "clips", which are already extremely thin, so they are able to get a good hold without having to double up on the space.

If there is I didn't get the memo. If your talking about just normal rebooting with the end key, that doesn't fly when the thing is completely lock from a system crash ... which happens alot with the beta stuff I am running.
