That video above got me thinking...

While any battery over-charged can over heat and potentially burn--

Are lithium polymer batteries at a greater risk?

I use an external charger to charge spare batteries so I can a quick switch without having to use the phone to charge. The external charger shuts off when the battery is full. Regardless of that, is there an elevated risk in leaving an Li-Pol battery charging while unattended?

this guy told me there's no tracking number because it didn't have insurance, like God only knows what kind of puddle of slop it's sitting in on some Chinese freighter.

FWIW: I Ordered mine on 11/03 and just received it today. I noticed some people who ordered last month have yet to receive their order. I forgot to check the ship from adress, but I think mine shipped the day they switched factories.

As for the battery itself, I just topped it off. I'll report consumption when I have a full day to determine if there really is any difference

now heres somthing to think about. this 2000mAh battery for $10 shipped? might blow up idk. or 2 1500mAh batteries and a wall charger for $15

which to choose?

and also. with that 2 kmah battery, how do you keep it from overcharging? if you charge it int he phone shouldnt it stop charging when the battery is full? because i let my phone charge overnight right next to my head. thats not a good move if its gunna blow my dreams out of my skull mid-REM sleep

anndddd. does anyone know if that same wall charger is safe to charge tthe 2000mah battery as well?

personally, I'd rather spend the money on a higher capacity battery. Youll already have a spare when the new one comes anyway

You wont have to worry about the battery overcharging, unless youre using some dodgy generic charger

so then how do you keep both batteries charged without defeating the purpose of an extra battery
