Could somebody please assist me. i want to know the exact procedure for setting up a SERO 500 '$30/month' ....i have this motorolla phone, unopened still in the box. if i find somebody who is selling SERO's, could we both call sprint 3-way and activate the motorolla i have with the SERO after transfering the account or whatever the procedure is?

i am kinda a dumby at this sprint stuff, i am a new customer, well im not even a customer YET, i am not settling for anything except a SERO 500 for $30 per month!!!!

somebody please give me the 411 on this. i want to activate this cheap phone i have with a SERO, then after it's all set up and i am assured it works, i will upgrade to a touch pro 2 (HOPEFULLY I CAN GET THAT TP2 FOR $199 ALSO)

Sin, you can't get 30 dollar sero plans anymore, as they were discontinued in July 2008. The only way to acquire one up is by doing a TOL (Transfer of liablity), but you'll have to find someone who is selling their plan. Furthermore, if you have a sero/eprp plan, you can only order through the sero site. They changed how ordering works for sero, and I don't think there is or will ever be anyway for sero people to get the phone for 199, with the possible exception of wheeling and dealing with Sprint via retentions. However, that's something I don't plan on going into and/or explaining.

I have about 25 working links, and as dbldwn02 said just send one of us a PM, assuming you have some rep. I don't see this deal going away for a long time.

Got mine for $250 after MIR on sero and Im okay with it.

I am on the $49.99 montly 1250 min SERO plan with an additional 27% knocked off.

I was able to get the phone for $175 before rebate - $75 after.
Had to renew my contract but I love the plan.. not letting it go. Sprint kinda hinted at wanting me to change it but noooo

I'm still waiting for the release of WM 6.5 on the device, and then I'll be looking for the $199 price.

Average Ebay price is down from $479 to $419 and with the proliferation of the recent deals, it's just a few weeks until the price is down to $349 or less.

Does the transfer of liablity thing really work with SERO though?
I have two SERO accounts right now. I've been wondering about that for a possible 3rd line for my parents. Will the average Sprint Store know how this can be done? Or will this require a boat load of work and calls to retentions?

Maybe I should start a new thread...sorry.

I ordered a return kit inside of 30 days, and then wrote to eCare saying I'd return it if they didn't provide me with the $199 price various friends are getting.

When they contacted me back, they said it was against their policy to discount the phone that extra $150, but as consolation was offered $20/month off my bill for the two years of my contract. So, saving $480 for not getting $150, and essentially getting paid more than $100 to have the TP2 under contract with Sprint for 2 years.

I have to say, I'm more than pleased with Sprint's resolution of this matter.

I don't understand your question. You're looking for a third line for your parents? So you're looking to buy someones SERO plan. Not sure if it'll be worth the trouble or effort of looking for a SERO 4 sale plan.

It looks different than the other corporate stores so I'm not 100% sure if it'll work.
