just got my tp2

tp was my first winmo device & spending decent amount of time on this & other sites i have used cabs & registry edits ... is the tp2 similar to tp as far as using the same registry editor & for utilities such as adv. config & such .. or even more so for existing cabs that i used with tp can i also use them for tp2 ? anyone with any useful info i thank in advance

Yes on the same registry editor and for the most part the same utilities. This really is a good time though to insure that you do have the latest releases before installing them.

As the last post said, mostly. Some things needs to be upgraded. In some cases it's a screen resolution issue. Even Google Maps, included with Sprint for instance, has the icons for traffic accidents so small you can not hit them with your thumb, and it's even tricky with the stylus. Registry editing is exactly the same. Other software works, but is tricky. I have the Dog Whistle cab, and I have to press above the whistle to make it work. It's the resolution, I suspect, and how it's implemented. The Fart Machine works great, though )
