Well, i pulled the trigger finally today and picked up a Touch Pro 2. Not very smart considering I'm a laid off Network Engineer living with his sister and surviving on unemployment insurance....but what the hey. My name is ebmorgan and I am an addict.

Hll yeah it is. I think it's MUCH better than the TP. I love the increased size and weight. Feels like your holding a good solid hunk of technology. I love the feel of a solid device. It's faster, bigger screen, the speaker phone is the JIZZ. And I even like the keyboard better. And I confirmed with Sprint today that WinMo 6.5 is coming soon for it. I also confirmed that 6.5 will NOT be coming out for the regular TP.

Unfortunately, however, I'm not a fan of Manilla....so mine is getting the Spb Mobile Shell 3.5 treatment...

I agree on all accounts. This phone really seems like the result of the meeting they had to fix the Touch Pro when they realized it sucked. I think they all sat down and pointed out the flaws on the Touch Pro and the Touch Pro2 is what was produced from that feedback.

so is it worth paying out of pocket $450 (will get a $100 mir and a $100 acct credit), so $250 after said and done. but still $450 out of pocket is a huge hunk of dinero!

just think of this also..... The TP1 is STILL $300 while the TP2 is $50 more. But you will actually get it for $250. Its truly on you and if you want to spend the money, but IMO it is worth every penny. And when the HardSPL comes out we'll be all set.

Don't feel bad. I'm actually quitting (I know it's a bad time lol), but I got one off CL as well.

If it's worth it is a personal preference. To me, yes, it's DEFINATELY worth it. But I'm gutter junkie for gadgets. I gotta have my fix no matter what the cost. I'm a Techno-Strawberry: I sell my body for gadgets...I'm a dirty W H O R E !

what's the point of making money
if you enjoy it, its money well spent imo
