Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
You mean a task manager?
I just use the stock one built in to my task bar. I know there are some advanced ones that allow you to customize stuff but I just try to keep my applications open only when I am using them. Not like my wife... every time I pick up her TP she has like 10 apps running in the background and she wonders why it's slow. lol. p. |

Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
I really wish there was an alt-tab hotkey. Because if you want to switch to something open but you are already inside an app you essentially have to go to the home screen, then task manager, then select the other app.

Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
I wish you could switch apps like on the palm pre... by just sliding your finger across the screen. That way you could kill whatever app you don't want to run as you are looking at it.

Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
I use WkTask because it is much easier to switch between tasks or open programs. It gives you a desktop windows type task bar.

Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
Task Fascade is an amazing Task Manager. Set it to one of the hard keys. Now, anytime you are in an app and want to switch, hold that hard key and you'll see all open apps in 3D panels (such that in Sony Xperia) and you can switch / close apps. Works really well.

Re: Recommended Task Bar Manager
Thanks for the ideas. The fact that you have to be at the home screen in order to view running applications was exactly the reason I prompted this thread.
Thanks for the great feedback. If anyone else has some good recommendations, please post. I'm sure many more will have the same questions! Regards, pc |
