Re: Bluetooth will not hang up/disconnect

I believe it is an on going problem with bluetooth headset, when your data is connected, bluetooth won't hang up but I notice that when your TP2 is not data connected, then you can hang up when you press end button. So I think there is something wrong with bluetooth stack and data connection.

Wow you're absolutely right about this. Maybe a fix can be found now. As it is, this is unworkable for me as turning off data turns off direct push also.

Ford Sync here and VZW TP2. Cannot end calls or make them when the phone is locked.

Re: Bluetooth will not hang up/disconnect

I installed this cab on my Verizon HTC TP2 and it did not work. Did a soft reset with bt off and just won't work. Dang!!! Thanks anyway.

Angry Re: Bluetooth will not hang up/disconnect

What gets me is that I thought Bluetooth was guided by protocols, conventions and standards. I bought a program called blue audio thinking I would get a new set of features to use with my Jawbone Prime and found that due to HTC changing the bt stack from MS to Widcomm that the program is useless. What the heck is that about. It is getting to the point that you need to be an expert in every dang protocol just to use your phone anymore. God what next? Are there going to be USB applications that use different standards all over the place and you have to research what charger works and what will not, what programs will work with what USB standards? Sorry to rant but it is so frustrating.

Re: Bluetooth will not hang up/disconnect

Tried with VZW TP2 with Plantronics Voyager Pro. No dice!! Could it have anything to do with using Bluetooth 2.1 on these newer headsets. Seems that older headsets (like my Motorola h700) work fine with this cab.

Re: Bluetooth will not hang up/disconnect

I had this problem and the new Mighty Mike ROM seems to have fixed it!
The Bluetooth earpiece issues are solved. I can now disconnect from a call by pressing the end button on my earpiece. Voice command now responds with no lag.
