Removing icons at the top of the drop down start menu

Hi guys, I enabled the drop down menu when you hit the start button instead of TouchFlo's program menu but now there's 3 icons at the top (IE, Google, Comm Manager) that I don't know how to edit. I'd love to be able to put some other icons here or at least just keep it empty. Any tips on how I can do this? Thanks in advance!
