Does your screen show this kind of Rainbow Banding?

(This Touch Pro 2 is about 1 month old)

Do you have any screen protector or anything on it? I had that happen with my touch and my tp2 with a Zagg screen protector.

Nothing here. 1 month old also, I see that on my Diamond but nothing on my Pro2.

that is almost a perfect square I think you got a poorly made screen... i seriously want to bring my TP in for service, but i am scared to get my upgrade eligibility foobarred with and still end up with a phone thats going to screw up. why can't they just do screen swaps on the TP1....

I hear ya. Three of the bad refurbed replacement TP1s I was sent had bad screens. Actually, they weren't broken, they were just really sub-standard low-resolution grainy screens. It was like looking into an LCD monitor c. 1988, but with color. The Tech at the Vzw store tried to deny there was anything wrong, but thankfully his supervisor had a TP1 and noticed it right away.

So not only in my case did Vzw try to pass off refurbed as equal to a new phone I paid for, they tried to pass off sub-standard junk hardware as of equal value. *Is still sour about that*

If you have insurance on your phone and it's screwy you can get it replaced with a TP2 without it touching your upgrade eligibility. Even though you're getting a different phone, it isn't new (refurbished), and you can still upgrade whenever. It's how I got my TP2. Had to send in my TP1, but don't miss it, even as a back-up.

I have a Zagg screen protector and not having any issues. I doubt that is from the screen protector.

ZAGG screen protector did that same thing too me twice and both times had to replace my phone

hey guys I don't know how you would feel about it, but every time I had that happen with my touch pro. I just left it in a dehydrator over night and it dissappeared...

what also works is putting it in rice for a couple of days to suck out all the moisture..
