Qpst works fine on this.
You need version 2.7 build 323
google "qpst version 2.7 build 323" and there you go.

I think you have this confused with ESN/MEID swapping.

Nothing is wrong here as long as no one posts links to pirated software and no one speaks of changing their ESN.

Just to be clear: you don't *have* to change the code, it's just for convenience. I just left mine at the Sprint-issued MSL.

I didn't, but I was told that if you did leave it, when someone attempts to flash it to metro it will not work.

Thank you! I found the program and downloaded it to my PC desktop. Now, do I open it on my PC or move the file to my pocket pc Touch Pro2 and then open it?

it's a computer program, so open on your pc

PimpSupra or anyone else, is this true? I have to make an appointment to get this taken care of, but my understanding was that the code change was optional.

I'm relatively positive it is, but its also something you could DIY. You need an XP based computer, a USB cable for your tp2, and QPST or CDMA workshop.
