Change TP2 MSL Code to 000000
 

Hello and thanks for the help in advance. I purchased a Sprint based TP2 and converting it for use on METRO PCS

I've acquired my MSL code. But now I don't know how to change it to the recommended 000000

Does anyone know how or where to change the MSL code on the Touch Pro 2?

Yes, that is the thread I'm using to convert the phone. However, it doesn't say how to change the MSL in the phone. I've acquired the MSL but now reach the point where I need to change it from its current value to the 000000.

But I don't see how to change the MSL. I've read and re-read the entire thread several times.

put the phone in diagnostic mode, then use CDMA workshop to change it.

Doesn't QPST work with the TP2??

You can DL that for free, the latest version of CMDA workshop is over $100.00

I'm not sure about QPST, but I never paid for CDMA workshop, there is a crack version of the 2.7 version of it floating around,for free, I believe on mobile files.com

Thats what I and tguerena used to do ours.

Edit, not sure which version of CW tguerena used.
