Android on the touch pro 2
anyone have anything on this? i searched but nothing.
i know its not functional untill the hero comes out. but when it does. will the TP2 get android as well? |
Re: Android on the touch pro 2
theres a better chance of that happening with donut since its fully compatible with cdma as well as multiple screen resolutions. but theres still the matter of the kernel development so it will work.

Re: Android on the touch pro 2
I have this cab called Androkkid but it's still in the early development stages. It's actually an Android shell that works in the Windows realm. Interesting concept. I'll see how it develps.

Re: Android on the touch pro 2
^ Yeah, and I'm a Chinese jet pilot. I hope they do make it compatible, but I gotta wonder why people looking to do this wouldn't just buy an Android phone to begin with.

Re: Android on the touch pro 2
there has been a lot of discussion here on a port to the TP2 of android. I think we are just waiting on Hero, and a boot loader or something. I haven't read the whole thread yet.

Re: Android on the touch pro 2
What would really be nice is dual boot on the LEO with that 1ghz processor and massive screen... too bad no physical keyboard. Now... that would be ideal.
I am curious about Android that's the only reason I even installed that Androkkid cab. But not much there to apease my curiosity. p. |
