Re: Android on the touch pro 2

The way android looks on the Hero is what makes me want it. Any real timetable for this now that the hero has been out for a while?

Wirelessly posted (htc TP2: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

Anyone who like the Hero's UI can try SPB Mobile Shell. It isn't the same, but alike and HIGHLY customizable. I think it's better than Sense UI except for animated weather.

There is a new Android theme for SPB MS that just came out today. It is found HERE: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=604146

they actually have android booting on the tp2.. Its still very alpha and they are working on it. Should pick up steam now that they have it bootable. They even have some booting Android 2.01.

This is the same method they have been using for a while with the haret loader and placing the files on a fat32 formatted card.
