I've been battling with Sprint for the past 2 weeks over this doa TP they sent me. I had to go to the store a few times to let them look at it so they could tell me it was broken. Never was offered a different phone until I called, and the a rep told me I was in the Wellness Program. Well the devices that they offer are garbage in my opinion. TP2 was not an option.

So they're ordering me another TP, but the manager said that due to the high rate of failure with the device, if this one broke they can't order me another TP...I don't want a Snap, or a Treo Pro. And I have to go through the store because I've already had more than 5 replacements (2 of which were DOA). This is ridiculous.

Interesting this is pretty much the same situation I had (read a few pages back). I was patient with them and they were definitely willing to get me the TP2. They mentioned the Treo Pro and the Snap, but when I passed up the offers they said TP2. Be patient and nice and get them to sympathize with you.

Im on a sero plan also they gave me a TP2 for free covered under the TEP program. HEHE THANKS!

just picked mine up today. it took almost 3 weeks, but I got it. I sent the one I ordered back.patience is a virtue

The difference in our situation is they flat out told me they wouldnt replace it with the TP2. Retentions made me talk to the store manager, instead of doing it for me. They did offer me other phones, but kept refusing the TP2 saying they couldnt order it, or it was not on the list of compatable phones.

My touch pro Screen was broke. I called Asurion and requested to replcae with tp2. rep refused to upgrade to tp2. I spoke with Supervisor and he did replaced my touch pro with TP2 with 2 day shipping with out shipping charges.However I paied $100 deductable. I will receive it tomorrow.

Crying, whining, some even begging...

Absolutely pathetic.

I brought my car 9 months ago... now a new model is out, let me beg the car dealer for a new model...

Pathetic.

And don't tell me how they owe us this or owe us that, nobody made you buy a TP1 to begin with, you coulda got a lotus or something lol...

Have some pride.

There are some who just want a free upgrade and there are some that are having legitimate issues. Like myself for example, I have two lines with sprint one with a diamond and one with a tp1. My diamond has worked flawlessly for the last year but I have had significant issues with the tp1 and I had no choice but to get it replaced or repaired 5 times so far(dead screen, dead keyboard, dead speaker to name a few). So when I purchased my tp2 back on 9/03 I then de-activated my diamond and put my tp1 on my second line. In the last month I haven't used my tp1 hardly and that one just died over the weekend, so now I have another replacement coming in today. I haven't even called to complain but don't you think I have a right to say something?

As far as a car, if I purchase a brandnew car in which I needed 5 major repairs because of factory defects within the first year don't you think they would put me in a new car? Now obviously if I own a 2009 civic, I wouldn't expect the dealer to put me in a 2010 accord and maybe that was where you were going with that but if there aren't any new 2009 civic available I would expect to be in a 2010 civic.
