When I put in my miniSD, it takes up 10% of my RAM.

I don't even have anything on it. It's an 8GB. Is there anyway to fix this?

After a soft reset, I noticed mine would change by 1% when I remove the microsd thats it.

Edit: Do you have a touch pro 2 or just a touch based on your profile?

I notice the same thing. I forgot I took my 16GB out, and I've been running in the 45-48% used range... weird.

You should be in that range with you memory card and apps/programs anyway. That is normal

Lol yea, this situation was discussed back in XDA a long long time ago. Think of your phone like a computer and your memory card another piece of "hard drive". Like any computer, reading another disk takes up random access memory (RAM). The same idea is reflected on our phone
