No option for Low Battery Alert on Sprint TP2?

Can any Sprint users confirm this?
If you go to Start/Settings/Personal Tab at the bottom/Sounds & Notifications/ Click the notification tab at the bottom, click the drop down menu.. is there an option for Low Battery?
I've heard that this option is available on Sprint phones, but I don't have it.

any way to enable it in registry?
My job requires me to be on call and my phone died silently last night- not cool.

Re: No option for Low Battery Alert on Sprint TP2?

I can confirm that the Low Battery Warning is indeed on my Sprint Touch Pro 2 right under Connection Established.

Re: No option for Low Battery Alert on Sprint TP2?

I was wondering why I have to go to Start and settings to see the battery life. Why can't I just touch the top of the screen like before (TP1)???

This problem is fixed by the cleanup cab. See the stickies.

I don't have the battery alert in notifications either, however Batti 2.4 works well and enables low and critical battery alerts, as well as for charging started & finished. Started charging well, I know when I plugged it in.. heh, but an audio when it's charged could be useful. It also displays a configurable color gradiated indicator on the top of the screen. It also displays 1% increments from nuebattery. (can be disabled if you don't want to give up screen space.)

There's another battery cab on the forums if ya don' like this one, but you'll have to search for that one.

Def can be modded in the registry. I changed my low battery tone on my Vogue by searching the registry for low batt wav.

Re: No option for Low Battery Alert on Sprint TP2?

Haongusa over at XDA hooked me up:

To make the low battery notification visible in the "Sounds & Notifications" control panel, set:

HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\Default = "Low battery warning" (REGSZ string, no quotes)

(Can be any text you like in the string.)

Note in my case the {} key already existed - I just needed to add the default string.

Tested on Sprint TP2 and low batt shows in notifications- still waiting to see if it works when batt is low.
