Re: HTC Response to Verizon tp 2 upgrade
I bumped into a "friend of a friend" (really! I've had beers with him before) last night who also happens to work at a Verizon store and asked him about the upgrade to 6.5 and he told me that there weren't any plans from verizon to upgrade the OS in the tp2. His language was much more colorful however...

Re: HTC Response to Verizon tp 2 upgrade
sorry man. i did a search for some 6.5 tweaking and this thread came up.
See, I installed the official update, but lost all the changes from the TP2 cleanup that GoodThings2Come posted. Any chance you could help me? 1) disable the HTC messaging that came with 6.5 update to the default windows messager and 2) Increase the number of tabs on Opera that I lost in the update? This is why i bumped this in the first place. been searching for these things on here for a couple hours now. |

Re: HTC Response to Verizon tp 2 upgrade
ok for the opera tabs, open opera and in the address bar type in
opera:config navigate to user prefs (you should be able to just search for tabs) and increase the maximum allowed tabs to whatever you want to disable the htc messaging you just need to install the following cab try this but i'm not sure it will work for 2.1 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...6&d=1265412290
