Re: Auto Rotate?

Mine auto-rotates most of the time, once in a while I have to flip the phone back and forth between landscape to portrait to get it to register. Pretty sure it did so out of the box. I installed the cleanup cab after a few days, and then the cab to restore the soft-keyboard.

I had Gyrator 2 installed a few days when I added G-Alarm. The conflict caused G-Alarm to crash if the tilt sensor is enabled in the program. After further review of Gyrator, (cool program, documentation is very lacking) it occurred to me it conflicts with phone function if it's default events are left in place.

With Gyrator, picking up the handset while a call rings, holding it upright, answers the call. Putting it face down hangs up the call. Cool concept unless you like and use the face-down speakerphone option. It appears entirely possible to modify or delete those events in Gyrator, or one can certainly disable the tilt-speakerphone option, but as I've not found a way around the conflict with Gyrator and G-alarm yet, I just exit it. (Gyrator auto-boots, and I haven't dug in to disable that yet.)

Re: Auto Rotate?

I didn't realize the hd tweaks app has a setting to disable the g sensor, and I had it on the tp2 the whole time. DOH!! I disabled it in a new york minute. I'm very happy without it.
EDIT: This was short lived joy. Apparently the tp2 overrides this tweak and it defaults back. Grrrrr!!!!.....

Re: Auto Rotate?

IMPORTANT

If you use GAZ TD2 Tools on a CDMA phone...it will cause problems. See the post in the URL below. This app is for GSM phones and changes a reg. setting that is different in GSM an CDMA phones...should be #777 on CDMA phones. The cab in the same thread on page 2 by shaggylive fixes the problem. This is an old problem that has occured on CDMA Diamonds and the first TPRO CDMA version.

If you want to add the rotate. Install the program select apply... uninstall the program and apply shaggy's patch.
