Thumbs down Bluetooth Issues

I have Microsoft Sync on my truck and it can be used as Bluetooth headset. on my last phone, HTC Touch, the interaction worked perfectly. Everytime i got into the car it on my Navi screen it would tell me my phone connected.

Now with my TP2 it does not connect everytime, when i turn off/on the bluetooth it immediately picks up my phone again. Also sometimes when my car hasn't connected to my phone and i make a phone call it will then pick it up and annoyingly switches to my the headset for my car.

Lastly and the most annoying thing is that when it does connect my TP2 becomes terribly sluggish. When i hit the power button to turn on the screen it will take somewhere between 10-20 seconds to turn on. Then navigating the phone it also is very slow. The only time my TP2 has ever acted this way is just when it connects to the BT on the Sync in my car.

My HTC Touch never had any of these issues. Anyone else having these issues and are there any bluetooth tweaks to improve this situation for the TP2??

Re: Bluetooth Issues

Search this forum for "Bluetooth" and you'll find a slew of threads reporting issues with BT on the TP2 -from headsets to in-vehicle syncing. Looks like the biggest issue is that HTC went with the widcomm stack instead of the tried and tested MS stack.

There was this thread on U-Connect for instance
And this one on BT in the car
And this one on the widcomm debate

Re: Bluetooth Issues

Thanks for your advice, same problem here, I have a Pioneer Avic F-900BT in my car, never have a problem before with my Mogul phone, but with this TP2, the cellular freezes for about 30 seconds after making the first call, after that, works fine but some features still won't work.

Strange... works with no major issues on my F90BT...
