Re: Why do they make you wait 72 hrs for the price drop with sprint?
They have to get authorization from Regional Managers to reset your account

Or maybe your 30 days would be up and stuck without $150 to match Verizon.

Re: Why do they make you wait 72 hrs for the price drop with sprint?
there are several ways for retentions/cancellations/account services can credit your account.
I, too, have to wait 72hrs...and I wasn't having it. So when I called acc't services again...they explained it to me. The 72 hour wait is the follow the chain of command one where they route the request up thru to the regional manager like one poster already said. Apparently these price match requests actually is supposed to go ALL the way up to Kansas City, Sprint HQ. Another may be how acc't services hooked me up back in the day of the original Instink...where they gave to TWO $75 service credit...that they approved and applied right then and there....so I think the dollar amt has something to do with it as well
