Touch Pro 2 Cleanup - Page 47

I have a Sprint touch pro 2 device with WM6.5 Stock ROM on it. I hard reset last week and ran the clean up cab for 6.5. reinstalled various cabs that I had before. everything is looking good.The only issue I have is that every time I try to exit an application the device freezes up for like 25 seconds and sometimes i have to soft reset the device because it just freezes up for too long especially when I use the SMS application and the system screen. It is really annoying. Any idea what is causing that or how to fix it. TIA

this has been happening to me too...prolly started about a week ago, getting incrementally worse. i have to pull the battery four or five times a day now. going to do a hard reset as we speak. i havent installed anything new for a while, and i always exit my programs via task manager, so i have no idea what could be causing this.

Same thing is happening to me too! It just started about a week ago. I havent loaded anything new, or are a power uses. Mostly noticeable when trying to use/view SMS, but happens at "random" also. Is there a thread discussing this? Something is definitely going on and Sprint needs to be aware of it!

Delete all your SMS messages, this will solve your problem with the Sprint 6.5 ROM freezing when exiting a message thread.

Tried that and it is still doing the same thing.

Everytime anybody makes the most basic of inquiries into the status of GT2L's continued involvement with this project, you give your standard smart ass reply. Nobody here has demanded anything from him. Of course he has a life, so do we. I am just curious as to where things stand, so that I can make decisions about which way I want to go with this phone, nothing more, no expectations. Last we heard, he had returned from vacation and would be back in touch, but then nothing for weeks. Of course he owes us nothing, and that is fine. Really buddy. But don't feel like you need to give this stupid response every time, there's nothing outrageous about the occassional asking of the question. He doesn't "owe" us anything, it would just be a courtesy to let us know that he's moved on, or that he hasn't and still intends to work on or support it further, but is sidetracked now. That's all.

I wish I COULD work on the file, but really I'm not that talented I'm afraid. That's why I have appreciated what he has done. And hope that everything is fine with him...

+1 All I asked for was if this was still in development. The guy acted like I took a poop on his hamster.
