if you have one unread message in either your mail or sms folders, use the fixreadcount cab to cure it. i have had to use it a couple times and it works 100%

and yes it works on 6.5

Not 100% of the time.
Maybe in your case but there are several other ppl who get it to reappear under all 3 fixes for this bug.

understood. well 100% of the time it has worked for me. im using stock rom and GT2L's cleanup.. nothing else..

to jeor,
run the fixreadcount THEN softreset. after that open up the sms or email account and it should go away.

try it for yourself...

I have read and searched to see if anyone else has had this problem, but can't find anything. After running cleanup, i can't access the internet with either IE or Opera. I receive "page cannot be displayed", "cannot find server or DNS error Internet explorer"

I have a sprint, HTC touch pro 2, windows 6.5, stock rom

damn really? well like i said im a noob but why havent anyone fix it yet? its that hard to fix? this wow ok well i just did a hard reset so it hasnt poped up BUT COME ON SPRINT!!!!! i PAID !560!!!! bucks i would think THEY COULD FIX THIS!!!!!!!! i just wish there was a one time fix for it but thanx alot yall guys alright by me!
