Touch Pro 2 Cleanup - Page 44

I have a Sprint touch pro 2 device with WM6.5 Stock ROM on it. I hard reset last week and ran the clean up cab for 6.5. reinstalled various cabs that I had before. everything is looking good.The only issue I have is that every time I try to exit an application the device freezes up for like 25 seconds and sometimes i have to soft reset the device because it just freezes up for too long especially when I use the SMS application and the system screen. It is really annoying. Any idea what is causing that or how to fix it. TIA

this has been happening to me too...prolly started about a week ago, getting incrementally worse. i have to pull the battery four or five times a day now. going to do a hard reset as we speak. i havent installed anything new for a while, and i always exit my programs via task manager, so i have no idea what could be causing this.

Same thing is happening to me too! It just started about a week ago. I havent loaded anything new, or are a power uses. Mostly noticeable when trying to use/view SMS, but happens at "random" also. Is there a thread discussing this? Something is definitely going on and Sprint needs to be aware of it!

Delete all your SMS messages, this will solve your problem with the Sprint 6.5 ROM freezing when exiting a message thread.

Tried that and it is still doing the same thing.

you know when u clean out all ur texts and theres one that never leaves sayin u still have a text but u dont there was a prob with this with 6.1 but now that i got 6.5 it still happens

There are 3 fixes available.
regedit
Fixreadcount.exe
HTMLnote.dll

Search for them - full of info here.

and that will fix 6.5? cuz all i see people talkin about is 6.1
