The cases for the tmo TP2 don't show the hole for the prox sensor...maybe the hardware for it isn't even there? Then again, my research involves 5 minutes on eBay looking at hard cases.

You should be able to feel a low spot behind the HTC logo on the top left. This is the location of the proximity sensor

Also, I used T-mobile's screen protector that doesn't have a hole for the proximity sensor behind the THC logo... could that have disabled it?

I know it's pretty sensitive Perhaps there is a registry setting to setup the sensitivity as well as it's on/off state. I'm going to look in my Sprint phone.

I've looked through the registry & found a lot of cool information, but nothing relating to the proximity sensor. Of course they could have called it anything
