Unable to get gsensor working in SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

Is anyone else out there running the new mobile shell 3.5 and unable to get the gsensor working with the TP2? When you go to carousel mode there is supposed to be gsensor functionality (even though it is eye candy), and I have read it was made with HTC devices in mind. I cannot get this part to function and I am running stock rom. If anyone has any info I would very much appreciate it. I got the Need for Speed game working with it , and now would like to get the gsensor functioning with this new Mobile Shell . Everything else on it works fine under 3.5 but no gsensor functionality . I have tried gyrator2 but that doesn't help either . It just does the auto rotate but doesnt let meshake and turn the carousel or give me the 3d version when tilted. Please let me know if you can help..Thanks

You have to turn it on. It is off by default. Go into the carousel and then click on the card thing at the bottom to edit and a menu will come up that says use g-sensor or something. That's all. It's cute for a minute.

Thanks, but No, this option is not present for everyone. I know there should be an option to activate it but it is not present. I have heard of people having issues with different ROMS but I am running the factory Rom . Unfortunately when in this mode, only option is to switch to tile view. I realize it is not a "useful" component, but I like the eye candy. If someone else has experienced this, please reply. Again, I am using Sprint TP2 . I have installed D3D driver , does anyone know if this could be inhibiting the gsensor from functioning within this part of the app?

Re: Unable to get gsensor working in SPB Mobile Shell 3.5

I have Sprint TP2 and HAVE NOT installed the updated d3d driver. SPB Mobile Shell g-sensor works perfect for me. However like everyone else has stated I played with it for a minute then turned it off

I believe you have to turn on 3D acceleration to see the G-Sensor option.

Thank you, I have been reading and no where did I see anyone mention having to turn on the 3d accelerator within the spb mobile shell settings. That did the trick as it was not on by default. Many thanks again. I actually find it useful when using the carousel so i can see how fast I need to spin to move the carousel around to the screen I desire.
