Re: GPS Software for U.S. Frustration!

Ya, I run Garmin, iGo and TomTom off my sd card. Never had a problem and this card has seen at least 9 different phones. This card gets around a lil too much, lol. But it runs fine on my 16 GB card

Re: GPS Software for U.S. Frustration! YOUR ANSWER IS HERE!

I have read some of your posts and I see you are all looking for a good GPS program which can be run from your SD Card only and does not have to be installed on the phone. Please see the link below for more details:

** I currently have the Sprint Touch Pro 2 and am able to use Garmin Mobile XT which I installed on MY 8gb SD card. I am able to run the program from the SD Card and I can CONFIRM that you do NOT need Garmin's SD Card (i.e. having to swap SD cards just to use their GPS program)**

**PM me if interested for info**

If I have violated any forum rule in my signature, I apologize. When I registered I didn't notice anything that would indicate this, but I could have missed it.

I use these links in all the web forums I participate in, and it generally isn't a problem, especially when I'm not "selling" something to the community involved.

Please let me know where I can read the rules about this, and if I'm in violation, I'll be happy to remove it. I figured it's always of interest to see what things others are involved in. That isn't my primary career, but a passion I have cultivated over the years.

I haven't heard of this one - thanks. It does look like it might have potential. Apparently it doesn't support traffic feeds, which is unfortunate, but not necessarily a deal-killer.

Also a 7-day trial version is available, which is always nice.

Appreciate the link.

ETA: Ah, the SD card limitation, same as the others. Bummer...What a pain to always have to work around junk like this.

Posting warez and warez sites is unacceptable. So remove the GPSunderground link please. Its not huge, but I think its the 1st rule maybe. Also whoever linked that torrent needs to remove it asap! If you have a link like that to share please try the email or maybe a message in private wink wink.

What changes are considered system changes that cause the software to deactivate?

Re: GPS Software for U.S. Frustration!

I'm a bit confused here, if you all are talking about my links. I never linked to GPS Underground, but only mentioned them in my first post. And in fact, I indicated that I wasn't comfortable using 'cracked' versions at all, and want to pay for legitimate software.

Am I missing something?
