Re: VZW "Lock" app ported to work on Sprint?
That's your opinion. I asked if it had been done or if it could be done, not if you thought it could be done. Find another thread troll.

Re: VZW "Lock" app ported to work on Sprint?
That being said. I found the fix.
Copy devicelock.exe and devicelock.bmp from \Windows on a Verizon TP2 to the \Windows folder on a Sprint TP2 and then assign the Right Soft Key to run that file. Works great! If I can figure out how, I'm going to make a CAB that will do this automatically and post it up. |

I don't know about the VZW "lock" app, but have you tried s2u2 by A_C? I love it and I think it performs the same/similar function. You can find it at ac-s2.com

Re: VZW "Lock" app ported to work on Sprint?
The Verizon TP2 has the right soft key mapped to it. When you click it, the screen locks. It prevents SMS wakeup from allowing you to butt-dial people. The big advantage is that it very light weight, simple to trigger, and takes nothing away from what TF3D/WM already is.
I'll get screens and link to the app up when I get it tested fully. I've got a CAB being tested Scott Crosler when he gets a chance. |

unfortunately, it does NOT prevent the screen from staying on when the phone does wake on incoming SMS, and is in your pocket. Tested this many times... with screen lock on, you cant trigger anything, but the screen will stay on as long as something keeps contacting it.

Okay, I have to ask since I'm on Verizon, what does the Sprint version do? And are you on Sprint, because your avatar says Verizon?
